Omicron’s Debut in Islamabad: District Health Officer Confirms

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan According to a health official, the first case of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus in Islamabad was verified on Saturday.

Islamabad District Health Officer (DHO) Zaeem Zia informed the press that the case was discovered in a 47-year-old man who worked in Islamabad and had traveled out of the city for work-related reasons.
